Nurse Manager Long Term Care

A Wing is a 58 bed Medicare/Medicaid unit that has residents with multiple clinical issues including CHF, dehydration, cellulites, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac related issues needing monitoring.  Nurses work closely with a variety of health care professionals including: doctors, social work, dieticians, PT/OT, hospice, and spiritual support.  A Wing offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth and personal satisfaction.

B Wing is a 40 bed Medicare/Medicaid/Dementia unit. We provide care to residents with a variety of diagnoses.  B wing is a great unit for nursing students to develop their organizational skills and gain some experience in dealing with challenging behaviors. This unit also works closely with a multidisciplinary team meets and discusses the resident’s plan of care. 

C Wing is a 58 bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and Skilled unit and is a great place to learn basic med-surg, I.V. therapy & wound treatments nursing skills. Nurses on this unit along with host of healthcare professionals work to provide and implement the best treatment plan for residents. This fast paced and busy unit provide a great atmosphere for PT/OT residents to be motivated and reach their goals.  

Qualifications

Required Associate's Degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or higher.3 years of relevant experience Three to five years of previous nursing home experience, along with progressive supervisory experience. RequiredLIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
