**Nurse Manager - New Ortho Office – Latham, NY**
St. Peter’s Health Partners is opening a new Ortho Office in Latham. This is an opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager to start an office and create the systems, within the St. Peter’s system.

**What you will do:**
The Manager of Clinical Care is directly responsible for the daily supervision of the clinical operations, including all nursing and technical staff.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Directs nurses and technical managers in the coordination and control of personnel resources, including but not limited to; hiring, orientation, training, corrective discipline, counseling and scheduling in accordance with practice policies as well as appropriate governmental and other regulatory standards. Insures clinical management presence during working hours.
+ Ensures timely performance evaluations of supervisory and clinical personnel with input from Managing Partners/ Director and recommends commensurate compensation.
+ Ensures completion of weekly clinical staff schedule, clinical staff performance evaluations, regularly scheduled program reviews, facility rounds and program utilization statistics.
+ Develops objective performance measures which differentiate and incentivize clinical staff.
+ Facilitates development and communication of practice mission, goals, policies, procedures, and work expectations/standards to all clinical personnel.
+ Develops clinical personnel budget based upon functional requirements of patient care workflow with assistance from Director and Managing Partners.
+ Creates, implements, conducts, and evaluates ongoing nursing and technical staff professional development.
+ Responsible for clinical workflow, patient care process improvement and quality management.
+ Implements information technology solutions in conjunction with IT.
+ Oversees daily schedule of ancillary testing to insure maximum appropriate use of nuclear, ultrasound, laboratory, and other ancillary testing functions.
+ Seek ways to promote efficiency, incentivize staff and minimize costs associated with test completion without compromising quality.
+ Promotes communications and resolves disputes between departmental supervisors as necessary.
+ Completes daily review of all facilities to ensure cleanliness and life safety codes are maintained. Reports issues to housekeeping, maintenance and or facility manager as necessary.
**What you will need:**
+ BSN or equivalent; MSN preferred
+ NYS licensure
+ ACLS certification
+ Minimum of ten years demonstrated professional clinical leadership.
+ Significant electronic medical record and clinical information systems experience required.
+ Hospital and/or private group practice experience preferred.
+ Excellent oral and written skills required.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with physicians and other support staff are required.
**Pay Range:** $30.00- $43.50
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
