resuscitation rooms Our multi disciplinary team includes Registered Nurses Physicians Physician Assistants Patient Care Technicians and ancillary support staff all of whom work together in a supportive environment to ensure we have a safe and skillful emergency department for our staff members and patients We strive to work with the utmost efficiency and professionalism while at the same time providing the highest levels of personalized compassionate care and satisfaction for our community and surrounding areasThe Nurse Manager is responsible for the comprehensive administration of patient care services for the ED The manager shapes and interprets the philosophy and definition of nursing as it relates to short and long term planning program and staff development resource and budget management staffing performance improvement and healthcare system utilizationFunctioning within the framework for professional nursing practice the Nurse Manager supports and assists the Director This position has hour accountability for managing resources human material and financial to ensure quality cost effective delivery of patient services for in a defined area across the continuum This is accomplished by direct action delegation coaching and support of unit based shared governance councils Reports to the Director of Nursing for Emergency ServicesWork where every
