Position Summary

This clinical leadership position is responsible for the provision of effective operations, education, management, and leadership of the Hospice program and staff in the Brunswick area. The Nurse Manager - Hospice leads, guides, supports, and directs staff to provide highly reliable, evidence-based, patient-family centered quality care for terminally ill patients of all ages in their homes. This position reports to the Director of Hospice.

The Nurse Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CHANS Hospice program. We are seeking a team member which is collaborative, innovative, and leads with integrity. The ideal candidate would have experience in Hospice and a passion for serving the community. Experience or background in quality and safety a plus.

Demonstrates commitment to agency’s goals and to the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Acts as an advocate of patients and families needing home care services and oversees the patient experience and outcomes of home health care. 

 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or higher degree required. License/Certifications: Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maine Experience: Experience working in Home Health or Hospice. 3 Years of Leadership experience preferred
