Overview UF Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Manager of Endoscopy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a leading academic health system known for clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care. The selected candidate will oversee endoscopy services and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency across all procedures and patient experiences. The ideal candidate brings a combination of clinical expertise, operational insight, and strong leadership skills to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and staff engagement. This position plays a vital role in supporting UF Health’s mission of advancing health care, education, and discovery. Responsibilities Daily operations by ensuring and monitoring appropriate staffing levels, inventory management, financial indicators, and customer service standards. Developing and managing departmental policies and procedures; budget preparation and financial performance, staffing schedules, customer service initiatives and quality improvement and patient safety. Orientation, training, and education; hiring, evaluating, coaching, corrective action, and facilitating a just culture. Strategic planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of systems that support professional practice and achieve the departmental and organizational goals. Qualifications RN license in state of Florida. Master's degree in nursing required. Consideration will be given to those currently enrolled in formal education to obtain MSN. National nursing certification required within six months of hire. Minimum of five years professional nursing practice experience required, with three years GI procedural experience/clinical specialty. Demonstrates the following: autonomous and accountable nursing practice with knowledge and application of patient care outcomes management, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to influence staff's knowledge and application of evidence-based practice. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Leadership and management skills with knowledge and application of advanced professional nursing practice, nursing care delivery models, health care delivery systems, and budgetary process.
