Nurse Practitioner
Responsible for working alongside physicians and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services. Provides general and preventative care for children and adults, perform check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests, and prescribe medication. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Provides new patient consultation and reviews health history. 2. Performs physical examinations and screening on the patients. 3. Provides after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families. 4. Ensures patient records are maintained including test results, immunizations, condition changes. 5. Delivers quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics. 6. Recommends further treatment options or future appointments if required. 7. Performs diagnoses health problems and provides medications. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required: 1. Master's degree in Nursing or related area. 2. Current state Nurse Practitioner license. Preferred: 1. 5 or more years experience in Nursing or relevant area.
