JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provide psychiatric services consistent with established guidelines for best

practice interventions for adults, children, and adolescents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management.Collaborate with treatment team members for medical supervision, utilizing advancedknowledge of psychopathology and psychopharmacology to assist clinical team members indiagnosis, case formulation, and choice of treatment interventions.Maintain effective, collaborative relationship with Psychiatrists.Follow best practice prescribing protocols as identified in research and from organizational processes.Maintain an effective professional relationship with clinical support/nursing to efficiently and successfully support patients during and in between appointments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Master's Degree in Nursing required. (Clinical Nurse Specialist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)

Years of Experience

One to three years of experience in Psychiatric Nursing environment or mental health care environment is preferred.

Certification/Licensure

Must be licensed. Must have or be able to quickly obtain prescriptive authority.

Pay Range:

$99,000.00--$148,525.00
