In addition, it has primary care clinics located in Marshalltown, Conrad, State Center and Tama-Toledo and an Express Clinic in Marshalltown. + PRN Emergency Medicine opportunity serving Marshalltown and the surrounding communities + Cohesive and experienced group of colleagues + Dedicated staff and specially trained nurses in providing emergency adult and pediatric care, as well as in trauma and resuscitation + Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities + 12-hour shifts as needed + 16 Bed Hospital + 16 Bed ED which includes 4 ligature safe rooms for Behavioral Health + Level 4 Trauma Center + Average 55 ED visits daily + Hospital based ambulance service + On call- specialties include Surgery, Ortho, Podiatry, Tele-Psych, and Social worker + RT available 24/7 + Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care + Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve + Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment + Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications + Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant + Board Certified + 1-2 years of experience preferred + Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa + Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice + Eligible to work in the United States We Offer + Competitive hourly rate + A commitment to ensuring you have a voice that is heard regardless of role, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation + A   culture (https://www.unitypoint.org/our-culture.aspx)   guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing what’s right for the people we serve Community Details Located in the center of Iowa, Marshalltown offers a convenient and central location.
