Cottage Clinical Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Palliative Care Consultation Service in an acute care hospital setting. The Service is interdisciplinary and serves patients and their families. Collaborates with patient, family, health care providers and others to provide quality care for palliative care patients and their families. Participates in the education of staff, patients, families, and the community. The qualified candidate will possess broad clinical expertise in acute care, palliative care, oncology, or critical care as well as excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, families, staff and the community. 

Qualifications 

Master of Nursing Degree. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing as defined in Section 1482, Nurse Practice Act, Business and Professional Code National Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner Current California Registered Nurse license Current California Licensure and Certificate to practice as a Nurse Practitioner Valid Drug Enforcement Agency license Approval for privileges by Medical Staff 3 years’ experience as a staff nurse Specialty training in Palliative Care and 1+ years in Palliative Care preferred BLS from the American Heart Association
