Qualifications:

Required:

Master s degree required. Two to five years relevant clinical experience preferred Current New Jersey license as an Advanced Practice Nurse BLS; ACLS, CDS, DEA

Preferred:

Two to five years relevant clinical experience preferred Spanish Speaking.

Scheduling Requirements:

Hours would include 4, 10 hour shifts with Saturdays

Essential Functions:

Interrelationships: Hospital personnel, patients, families, visitors, physicians, students, nursing school faculty and hospital administrators. Environment of Care StandardDemonstrates the awareness of safety, security, life safety, emergency preparedness and utility and equipment management policies competencies.Adheres to Standard PrecautionsAdheres to Safety and Infection Control policiesAttends mandatory in-servicesHelps maintain a safe and clean patient/work environmentFollows incident reporting proceduresEnsures that appropriate standards of practice follow corporate compliance guidelines, and that results of accreditation surveys and licensure reviews by NJSDOH and JCAHO are satisfactory.Acts in an ethical and legal manner, and assures that all actions are in the best interest of both patients and the hospital.
