TidalHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Delmar, Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider to practice in an inpatient setting, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality infectious disease care.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with infectious disease physicians. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic infectious diseases, ensuring evidence-based treatment approaches. Prescribe medications, monitor treatment efficacy, and manage potential side effects. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and adherence strategies. Coordinate care with pharmacists, nurses, and infection control specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
