Summary:

Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Nursing, licensed in the State of Florida and has demonstrated clinical and teaching expertise. Possesses strong decision-making and clinical skills with the ability to assess the comprehensive health needs of their patient population.Position supports the neurosurgeons through rounding on current patients on the service along with seeing new neurosurgery consults.Will cover all patients on the neurosurgery service at MPH during the night. In addition, this individual would receive any neurosurgery transfers to MPH, write orders, perform assessment and H&P on patients admitted overnight. If a patient is transferred to MPH and goes straight to surgery at night, they would assist the Neurosurgeon in the procedure.

Masters Degree - Nursing

License:

Adv Practice RN License

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience required1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Shift Hours: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday
