Job DutiesThis individual will perform, under the responsibility and supervision of the physician, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to establish a diagnosis and to plan therapy. Assist in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician. Act as a patient advocate in the medical care system serving as confidant, advisor, and liaison between the patient and physician.
Answers and returns phone calls from established patients and their families and assess the needs of patient and family.Discusses plan with the physician and relays information to the family and patient.Obtains or assists in the preauthorization process for medications, diagnostic studies, and treatments.Both inpatient and outpatient clinic settingsSchedule is Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p with the possibility of weekend coverage requiredWeekend coverage rotation (every 4-5 weeks) Position DetailsWe are proud of the support and opportunities we provide:
