Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position working 10-hour shifts 4 days per week. Holiday and weekend rotations are not required. Hours can vary based on departmental needs. You will work at WI Sleep located at 6001 Research Park Blvd and American Family Children’s Hospital Clinics located at 600 Highland Ave in Madison, WI

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Sleep Medicine Outpatient Pediatrics to:
Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the area of sleep disorders. Work collaboratively but have the autonomy to manage your patient panel and work to the top of your license within a multidisciplinary health team including physicians, other advanced practice providers, and respiratory therapists. Manage treatment and order tests for pediatric patients with acute and chronic illnesses, specifically sleep-related disorders like sleep apnea and insomnia Triage referrals and conduct follow-up visits for sleep apnea patients treated with PAP therapies. Open to new graduates who have experience working with children and a strong interest in sleep medicine coupled with a pediatric clinical rotation.At UW Health, you will have:

Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner:
Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
Work Experience:
Preferred – Two years of APP ambulatory experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family; Gerontology.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
