The Nurse Practitioner will provide outpatient, non-urgent care services to beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service at the Anadarko Indian Health Center in Anadarko, Oklahoma.   "The Anadarko Indian Health Center has a multidisciplinary outpatient department that provides a wide range of services including primary care, acute care, and management of chronic health conditions for our community, providing approximately 50 to 80 visits a day." For more information, visit - https://www.ihs.gov/oklahomacity/healthcarefacilities/anadarko/ Position details: 1099, $100-110/hour Full time Chenega covers medical malpractice insurance Patient Volume: Estimated 20 per day Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans and recommendations for patients seen. Recommend and refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers and Contract Health Service (CHS) vendors within appropriate IHS guidelines. Document services in the electronic medical record system for patient encounters; complete all required administrative paperwork day of appointment to include electronic consults, co-signatures, completion of chart or Risk Management Reviews, unusual occurrences and peer review. Provide consultation to the Emergency Department health care providers on an as needed basis. Complete and sign their encounter orders and progress notes daily. Provide Nurse Practitioner services in all departments, as needed. Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Possess current certification as a nurse practitioner with training commensurate with the training required by the position by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Active DEA license. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $100.00/Hr. Up to USD $110.00/Hr.
