Nurse Recruiter (On-Site)
Position Summary: The Nurse Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and efficiently hiring qualified and competent experienced registered nurses and new graduate nurses who embrace Bozeman Health’s mission and values. The Nurse Recruiter develops and implements a comprehensive nursing recruitment plan utilizing both traditional and creative recruitment strategies, attracting top-talent to ensure current and future staffing needs are achieved. Work in collaboration with Nursing leadership and in alignment with the Nursing and Human Resources strategic plans. In addition, the Nurse Recruiter integrates knowledge of human resource management with expertise in contemporary nursing practices, care delivery systems and healthcare trends, to design and manage recruitment initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Required + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. + Current MT Registered Nurse license + Three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse + One (1) year of work experience with hiring practices and talent acquisition and using an applicant tracking system (ATS) Preferred + Master’s degree in Nursing. + SHRM or HRCI Professional Certification + Five (5) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse + Three (3) years of work experience with hiring practices and talent acquisition and using an applicant tracking system (ATS) + Knowledge of human resources functional areas and applicable state employment laws Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. + Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and onboarding new hire registered nurses; recruit for other healthcare professionals as needed. + Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure timely hiring decisions that comply with employment laws and regulations. + Utilize nursing and clinical expertise to evaluate candidates and align with appropriate job openings + Develop innovative recruitment plans to address current and future staffing needs, with an emphasis on difficult-to-fill positions. + Build pipelines of qualified candidates through partnerships with community organizations, career pathway programs, and educational institutions. + Lead recruitment efforts by organizing and participating in job fairs, virtual career events, and targeted marketing campaigns. + Partner with Compensation to develop competitive job offers and extend offers highlighting Bozeman Health’s total rewards + Collaborate with Marketing to promote employer brand and create awareness of job opportunities. + Analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance the quality of hires by implementing industry best practices.
