What You'll Be Doing

The Nursing Supervisor/On-Site Administrator will be responsible for the administrative/operational responsibility of all department service functions on his/her shift.

 

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Directly supervises, provides support to and communicates with all staff hospital-wideMake frequent rounds throughout facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee the quality of services and direct patient care activities as neededEnsure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospitalEnsure all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policyDemonstrates leadership effectiveness in managing interpersonal relationships and managing self.
Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental goals and objectives.Assist medical staff with scheduling after hour procedures and initiating on-call staff membersEnhance the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies as neededPerform any and all other duties assigned

 

What We're Looking For

Per Diem, Varied shift

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferredCurrent valid New Jersey State RN licenseMust have a minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing clinical experience and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in an acute care facilityCurrent AHA BLS and ACLSStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksExcellent leadership and communication skills with proven track record of building and coaching successful teams What We Offer
