Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage nursery teams, ensuring outstanding care and developmental outcomes for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and regulatory requirements.
Drive employee engagement, performance, and retention by providing leadership and support to nursery teams.
Mentor and role model best practices in early childhood education, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing all aspects of child protection and safeguarding policies.
Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure nursery health and safety is managed effectively.
Promote positive partnerships with parents and encourage their active involvement in the nursery's activities.
What We Need From You:
Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
Over 1 year of management experience, ideally in a similar setting such as Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager.
2+ years of experience in Early Years settings.
Proven experience of leading a successful Ofsted inspection, achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
Strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
Solid experience in managing teams and fostering a high-performance culture in regulated settings.
Fluent in written and spoken English, with at least a GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external partners.
