The certified nursing assistant (NAC) works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in providing age specific direct patient care. He/she ensures that quality is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent in the unit's standards of care. The NAC demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. NAC Certification from the State of Washington. AHA HCP (BLS for Healthcare Providers. Six months or more experience in a hospital or long term care facility.
Salary Range: $16.07 - $24.36
