Responsibility Summary

The Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and related non-licensed assistant services necessary to address the personal need and comfort of patients in an environment that promotes dignity and healing. The Nursing Assistant provides care as directed for all age patient populations.  The Nursing Assistant participate in unit activities as a team member, as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

Assures activities of daily living needs are met as outlined on plan of care inclusive of bathing, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, meeting elimination/toileting needs. Maintains patient/resident comfort and safety as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assures rehabilitation (restorative and maintenance) needs are met as outlined in the care plan and in accordance with policy and procedures.

 

Salary Range - $21.00-$23.19
