Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygieneProvides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patientsAssists in maintenance of a safe and clean environmentWorks under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unitAnswers phones and call lightsEnsures unit is stocked with suppliesAssists patient transporter as neededOther duties as assigned

Shifts: DAY Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Qualifications

Experience:

One year 1 year of nursing assistant experience (preferred)

2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)

Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

Current BCLS certification (required)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English 

Basic computer knowledge
