SUMMARY: Provides quality patient care under the supervision and direction of licensed nursing personnel. Provides direct or indirect nursing care to patients in pediatrics. + Obtains and documents vital signs and reports abnormal results to the patient’s nurse. + Communicates learning needs to charge nurse or nurse manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Nursing Assistant: + High school diploma or GED required + Previous experience (preferred) Patient Care Technician (PCT): + High School Diploma or GED required + Completion of approved Nursing Assistant training course required *RN students may be eligible to be considered for Student Nurse Technician opportunities. Students must be able to provide a copy of their college transcript showing successful completion of class requirements.
