Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED equivalent with average reading, writing and oral communications skillsWorking knowledge of direct patient careProof of: Successful completion of Nursing Assistant Program or Medical Assistant ProgramA minimum of one-year recent experience in a hospital or acute care setting
Ability to float between units within the hospital
Able to work a monthly commitment of 24 hours
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
In designated areas, Certified Nursing Assistant is requiredBLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Nursing Assistant functionCertified Nursing Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.
RSP Nursing Students/Nursing Assistants receive:
