Good Samaritan is offering fully paid training and, upon successful completion, a full-time or part-time role working at our facility in one of our numerous specialties. This training is available for individuals with no or limited prior health care experience. This dynamic Nursing Assistant Training Program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the healthcare field. Those in the program will have the opportunity to work alongside our award-winning interdisciplinary team in the only Level I Trauma Center for Adults, Level II Trauma Center for Pediatrics and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the South Shore of Long Island. Good Samaritan is also the only hospital in Suffolk county to earn the ANCC Magnet® Recognition for nursing excellence, which is held by less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide. Job Details Requirements for the Nursing Assistant Training Program: Passion for patient care, positive attitude and willingness to learn. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred experience: Customer Service experience, Caregiver experience and demonstrated interest and/or exposure to healthcare.
