Must meet ONE of the following requirements:
6 months of nursing assistant experienceCompletion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing programSuccessful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hireVerifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training programCurrent registration on applicable state nursing assistant registryEssentia Health offers a Nursing Assistant Foundation course as well as on the job training for individuals interested in pursuing a Nursing Assistant career within a hospital setting! As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Department Director, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Duties may vary by unit or department but typically involve:
Assisting with personal hygiene and nutritional needsOffering comfort care and personalized assistanceSafely transferring patientsMonitoring vital signs and maintaining accurate recordsSwiftly reporting any changes in patient condition to the RNUpholding a clean, safe environment to enhance patient healing and well-beingOur Nursing Assistants work the following:
Every Other WeekendRotating 8 Hour ShiftsDay Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PMEvening Shift: 2:00PM - 10:30PMOvernight Shift: 10:00PM - 6:30AMA variety of scheduling options are available!
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:CERTIFICATE/LICENSURE:
