Position Title Nursing Clinical Coordinator Department Nursing Department ADN Position Category TemporaryPart time About CCRI Job Summary Coordinates daily operations of Nursing laboratories clinical placements and experiential learning activities Ensures lab equipment is reach for use and all nursing courses have equitable use of labs Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates all Nursing labs with any other coordinators to ensure each nursing course get equitable opportunities for labsimulation usage Coordinates and facilitates faculty requests for clinical placements Facilitates faculty orientation to new facilities Ensures that all correspondence with clinical agencies is completed each semester including but not limited to letters of attestation and agreement Responsible for rescheduling students when clinical sites change andor warrant reorganization Responsible for ensuring all students and faculty are current including but not limited to the following immunizations CPR certification BCIs agency orientations and on line orientations Coordinates N95 fit testing for Nursing students Ensure agency contracts are up to date Oversee data entry into CCP registry Monitor placements for approvalsdenials Troubleshoot placement issues Re schedule placements when necessary Ensure that all required student documentation health record is current Assist with clinical orientation of new faculty Review clinical site evaluations and make recommendations based on data Coordinates all labs and equipment for readiness including Equipment and supplies and their security Inventory and reorder needed lab supplies Formulate budget recommendations Plan with bookstore or vendor regarding student packs Maintain ongoing communication with clinical partners Report to Department Chairs on a regular basis Report clinical site evaluation data to appropriate personnel Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in health related field Strong organizational skills Competencies Experience in clinical labs and clinical placement Reports To Department Chair Campus Location Primarily located at the Warwick Campus Full timePart time Part Time Shift Days and Additional Work Schedule Information Schedule can be flexible and will be discussed Work Schedule Limited Period Appointment Benefits No SalaryHourly Rate 40 50hour Additional Salary Information Licenses Tools and Equipment Environmental Conditions Desired Start Date Position End Date if temporary or grant
