Overview:

Performs a variety of administrative functions. Well versed in Microsoft Office products. Schedules appointments, transcribes minutes from various meetings. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, creates presentations, updates policies and procedure, and other duties as assigned. 

Essential Job functions

Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation.

Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations.

Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports.  May  assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.

Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.

Composes straightforward written descriptions of results.

Employment Qualifications

Education Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Specialty/Major: 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferred Education:

2 Year/ Associates Degree

Specialty/Major: 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Years and Type of Experience:

Minimum of 4 years experience in providing administrative/clerical assistance.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare.  Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  Works under general supervision.
