NURSING HOUSE SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nursing House Supervisor is a professional, Registered Nurse who supervises patient care/placement throughout the Health Center, and who coordinates resources from ancillary departments in the absence of the Clinical Managers/ Assistant Clinical Managers to meet staff and patient care needs. The Nursing House Supervisor acts as the liaison between patient care areas, ancillary areas, physicians, staff, patients and their families. The Nursing House Supervisor serves as the administrative representative on evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Registered Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing and licensed in the State of Ohio.
BSN preferred.

Required length of experience:
Five (5) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Two (2) years in leadership role preferred.

Required licensure, certification or registry:
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing required.
CPR certification, BLS and ACLS required.
