Nursing Intern - Inpatient - PRN
Job Description​

All Saint Luke's Internships are paid opportunities.

The Nurse Internship position is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed the Fundamentals of Nursing or Med Surg course. We are currently looking for nursing students whose expected graduation date is in late 2025 or in 2026.

Float Pool

Neuro Med Intermediate

Neuro Spine Progressive Care

Emergency Department

Pulmonary

Renal Transplant

Orthopedics

Surgical Intermediate Cardiac Care

CICU

Intermediate

Medical ICU

Medical/Surgical

Medical Intermediate

The Nurse Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The duties of the Nurse Intern includes performing direct and indirect patient care activities, providing support to other health care team members, and performing technical tasks per unit competency validation. However, Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

It is the expectation to work full time hours over the course of the summer and breaks. During the school year, the Nurse Intern must maintain PRN requirements.

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Nursing Student - Various
