Nursing Office Coordinator Position Summary
This individual is responsible to utilize the ANSOS schedules created for each nursing unit and supplement unit needs with MNU and/or flex staff that is assigned for the current shift. The ANSOS staffing sheets are printed daily for use during the next 24 hours of staff assignments. Also responsible for frequent contact with clinical supervisors, charge nurses to determine staff needs. Sends text messages to designated groups when additional staffing is required. Special pay practices must be approved by nursing leadership in order to be offered. Also utilizes the bed placement board from Epic to look at admission/discharge/transfers on the units as well as census. The admission of inpatients and transfers from other facilities as well as placement of internal transfers supports a current and accurate "bed board." Has ongoing communication with the nursing supervisors.

Education
High school graduate or equivalent required. Courses in computer, office or public relations preferred. Medical Terminology Course preferredExperience
