EMMC is offering a FREE Accelerated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course for first-year Nursing or Pre-Nursing students! This is an accelerated training program that will run for three weeks. This excellent program is hosted at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center and begins December 23rd, 2024 with a graduation date of January 10th, 2025. Once students have graduated from the course, they will be placed in a per diem, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, and expected to work 36 hours/week during academic breaks, and four shifts per month while school is in session. Applications must be received by December 5th, 2024 for consideration.
