Responsibilities Supervises all clinical operations of Surgical Services including supervision of personnel and patient flow to ensure providers have maximum opportunity to provide superior care to patients. Participates in hiring processes, onboarding, training, performance improvement initiatives and annual performance appraisal processes. Responsible for supervision of staff work schedules, time keeping and leave requests. Monitors quality, competency, and skills of supervised staff. Responsible for maintaining adequate quantities and accessibility of supplies for the delivery of safe, high quality healthcare services. Ensures regulatory compliance. Addresses patient concerns according to policy. Fosters an environment of collaboration and respect with physician colleagues, nurses, and other healthcare team members. Reports to the Clinic Nurse Manager. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of accredited RN nursing program State Board of Nursing RN license Two years’ experience working as RN ACLS and PALS Certification within 60 days of employment Current knowledge of physician clinic or hospital operations Preferred Job Requirements: Prior supervisory experience in a hospital or physician clinic setting Master of Science in Nursing
