Position Purpose:
Report to Patient Services Supervisor and/or Patient Services Manager with primary responsibility to be assigned based upon daily need (i.e., dish room, hot food dipper, runner, beverage position). Responsibility includes cleaning and sanitizing soiled service ware and equipment in both the kitchen and cafeteria, setting up hot food workstation, assembling patient food trays, and delivering floor stock.

This position requires safety equipment. Frequently exposed to moving objects. Rarely exposed to hazardous material chemicals, vibration, potential electrical hazard, potential burns, requiring clothing and/or safety equipment.Able to lift objects weighing less than 10 pounds or less frequently, 20-30 pounds occasionally. Able to carry objects weighing 25 pounds or less occasionally. Able to push food cart with filled trays. Able to remove trays from lowest and highest point of food cart. Able to perform motor skills such as wrist turning, grasping, finger manipulation, continuously. Frequently required to bend, twist, turn, reach out/up. Occasionally climb stairs. Must be able to stand in place 30 minutes consecutively, up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to remain on feet up to four hours consecutively.Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalentJob Knowledge/Experience: Approximately six months to one year in the food service industry required.Skills: Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to stand in one place for up to three (3) hours. Must be able to push and pull food delivery trucks. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
