Short & Sweet:To safely operate the separators and evaporators and their associated equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures while also monitoring the quality of incoming raw material and outgoing products. Schedule: + 12 Hr. Shifts + 2,2,3 Schedule + 24/7/365, weekends & holiday's required Job Responsibilities + Covers breaks and lunches for hourly Whey department positions + Operate the HTST, separator, evaporator and CIP system + Start up and shut down HTST, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements + React quickly and adjust / troubleshoot equipment to maintain product specifications + Complete Daily Checklists + Handle and test chemicals + Enter data into MES computer system + Hourly testing of product + Recognize and communicate potential deviant situations + Communicate clearly with the Quality Department, Cheese Production Operators and department management + Apply lockouts to equipment as required + Any additional duties as assigned Requirements Minimum + Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously + Action oriented and the capacity to drive for results + Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions + Able to lift 55 lbs. from floor to mid-chest continuously(0" - 39") and climb stairs hourly, climb inclined ladders hourly, and vertival ladders daily + Must be able to support 24/7/365 operation, including weekends & holiday's + Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing + Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred + Prior food industry experience
