Overview Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for Woodwinds hospital in Woodbury, MN! This position offers 32 hours over a 2-week pay period and is not benefit eligible. Pay starts at $20.42 an hr. This position is temporary and will end in May or June. To prepare food according to guidelines, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and/or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation and service. Week 1 Tues 7am -3:30pm Thur 7am - 3:30pm Week 2 Tues 7am -3:30pm Thur 7am - 3:30pm Responsibilities Job Description Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes Prepares food in an efficient, safe and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following proper techniques Covers, labels, dates and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames Practices proper infection control methods including hand-washing, personal hygiene and infection control policies Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service.
