NUTRITION SVC CLERK

+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
+ Greets telephone clients and takes meal orders. Demonstrates excellent telephone skills. Processes orders. Checks trays and expedites meals. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Keeps accurate department records. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and the concept of teamwork.
+ QUALIFICATIONS
+ Professional/Educational
+ Ability to read and write is required.
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associates degree in dietetics preferred.
+ Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.
+ Two years experience in hospital food service preferred.
+ Experience in computers necessary.
+ Excellent telephone skills are required.
+ Personal
+ Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
+ Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.
+ Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.
+ Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
