Job DescriptionAudit EOL data from Gen 2 EDM.Ensure data quality from Gen2 EDM test rig.Maintain sensor operation ensuring repeatability.Continuous monitoring and interpretation of sensor tester results.Interpret new/unexpected/'ghost' orders that appear due to new special causes.Collaborate with Master-Black-Belt coach to execute Shanin studies to establish root cause and identify solutions for over-target conditions.Collaborate with PFDI NVH team to define / program acceptance limits with correlation to vehicle NVH measurements.Test / evaluate select EDM units in Gen-2-family vehicles (KX, LB, DT, EJ) which exhibit suspected over-target whine or imbalance related behavior (similar to process for RU PHEV with SIEVT transmission).Also support EOL NVH Issue resolution for all other Kokomo-built products: 8-speed transmission9-speed transmissionSIEVT transmissionKick-off, support, and validate in-house Gen-2 ‘make’ motor NVH quality control performance.Qualifications2 Year Engineering-Technical Degree Required.4 Year ABET Accredited Engineering Degree Preferred.Self-starter to monitor noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) end-of-line (EOL) test stand results and to perform vehicle testing to assist with End of Line (EOL) limit assessments.The qualified candidate should have:Possess valid US Driver’s LicenseUnderstand database management and data manipulation using production EOL measurement. software (Bauer Controls Software experience desired).Proficient with Microsoft Office products.Proficient in data acquisition and analysis methods including frequency domain analysis and signal processing techniques.Knowledge of Head Acoustics hardware for measurement and ArtemiSSuite for NVH AnalysisAbility to perform statistical analysis of EOL raw and summary data from large populations of test articles.Effective in fast-paced, demanding environment within a multi-disciplinary team (engineering, production plant, quality control, NVH, union represented employees, and others).Able to devise focused vehicle tests, providing critical feedback and subjective assessments from vehicle tests.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
