Our team partners with multi-functional engineering groups and external vendors to develop and optimize test programs, ensuring robust validation of NAND and SSD technologies.** **Position Overview** **:** **As an NVMQRA Test Development Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test programs across multiple tester platforms. You will create test flows to meet customer reliability and validation requirements, optimize test programs for efficiency, and ensure test program availability for engineering and qualification support. Additionally, you will contribute to process automation and documentation efforts to enhance test development workflows.** **Responsibilities** **:** **Design and develop new test programs for emerging NAND and SSD products.** **Maintain and optimize existing test programs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.** **Automate test processes to enhance reliability and data accuracy.** **Collaborate with multi-functional teams and external vendors to align testing methodologies.** **Develop software tools for analyzing reliability test data and identifying failure modes.** **Minimum Qualifications** **:** **Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field.** **3+ years of experience in test development and validation.** **Proficiency in C++ or Python for test automation and data analysis.** **Strong understanding of SQL databases for test data management.** **Experience with automated test equipment and NAND flash/SSD/CXL memory reliability mechanisms.** **Preferred Qualifications** **:** **Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering** **Knowledge of hardware fundamentals and test environment characterization.** **Experience in developing and maintaining NAND product reliability and characterization test programs.** **Familiarity with reliability stress testing methodologies for NAND products.** **Strong analytical skills, including experience with statistical data analysis.** **Ability to support operations teams to ensure test flow execution and process improvements.** The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $95,000.00 - $161,500.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
