Job DescriptionStrategy & Leadership
Develop and implement the factory’s strategy based on higher-level business objectives to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.Prepare the factory and its employees to meet internal and external requirements.Lead change management initiatives, guiding the organization through transformation and continuous improvement.Operational Management
Plan, optimize, and control all factory activities to:Meet market and customer requirements.Improve the factory’s fixed and variable cost structure.Align objectives with the Business Unit (BU) in case of major budget deviations.Define and evaluate activities to achieve financial and operational goals.Review and authorize procurement requests, personnel requisitions, and investment orders.Implement actions to manage financial variations related to scrap, production, and pricing.Optimize inventory management strategies to minimize stock levels.Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies.Production & Supply Chain Excellence
Oversee high-performance production processes by ensuring key manufacturing KPIs are met (e.g., process performance rate, internal delivery performance, inventory assessments, overall equipment effectiveness).Manage supply chain efficiency, ensuring smooth coordination between factory operations and customer demands.Balance short-term customer requirements with unplanned operational challenges to achieve optimal production and on-time delivery.Performance & Quality Control
Ensure product manufacturing aligns with authorized budgets and meets quality, quantity, and cost objectives.Supervise, support, and control production growth or reduction projects.Drive efficiency in production processes and equipment to enhance overall performance.QualificationsUniversity degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with exposure to various functions and industries.At least 5 years of experience in the rubber product business, with a deep understanding of the industry's specific challenges.Cross-functional experience in at least two different functional areas.Experience in strategic and business planning.At least 7 years in management roles, preferably in operational units such as factories.Hands-on experience in disciplinary and functional team leadership.Experience working with international teams and understanding different national cultures.English knowledge is mandatory.Additional InformationExecutive positionAttractive salary packageDevelopment opportunitiesCompany carReady to drive with Continental?
