O&M Operations Leader
**Job Description Summary** The O&M North America Operations Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency within the O&M team. This role involves overseeing site team performance, developing and implementing effective staffing strategies, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support our strategic priorities. This role will impact the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Further, the role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of leadership, influencing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Facilitates the North America O&M team operating rhythm and supports Global O&M team operating rhythm for all priorities including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. + Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare and disseminate regular reports to support discussions and decision-making, enabling data-driven actions to enhance operation efficiency, reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase operational availability. + Maintain the global staffing model for all services sites/hubs in support of O&M goals including faster Response time, RTS time and crew efficiency + Resource analysis and pain point resolution around parts, paper, and people; Parts – includes piece parts, components, tooling, and equipment; Paper – includes work instructions, playbooks, service notices, or any other form of guidance needed to execute work; People – includes Safety behaviors, KSAs, training compliance, productivity, availability, and other challenges that could delay teams in executing work. + Resource analysis and pain point resolution around parts, paper, and people; Parts – includes piece parts, components, tooling, and equipment; Paper – includes work instructions, playbooks, TILLs, or any other form of guidance needed to execute work; People – includes Safety behaviors, KSAs, training compliance, productivity, availability, and other challenges that could delay teams in executing work. + Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. + Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. + Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. + May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or related discipline from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Operations and Maintenance). + Minimum of 10 years of experience, with 5 years of business operations and analysis experience. + Ability and willingness to travel across North America up to 25% of the time. **Desired Characteristics** + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. + Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. + Established project management skills. The base pay range for this position is $119,600.00 - 159,500.00 - 199,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15%. This posting is expected to close no earlier than March 30th, 2025.
