Job Description:
PURPOSE
The Credit Collection Specialist is responsible for approaching customers daily to build up the relationship with the goal to receiving the outstanding payments to our Operating units. The Collection Specialist represents Envista to customers and has significant impact on the customer relationship.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform daily collection activities and be responsible for monitoring overdue payments from customersDaily collection activities can be telephone calls, emails, sending reminders and statementsApproaching customers daily to build up the relationshipResponsible for maintaining the sub ledger of their regionMaintain accurate and up to date customer details and account recordsReview and approve customer’s hold releasesDrives necessary actions to improve DSO and bad debt percentagesIn cooperation with Sales Managers and Sales reps and CS discuss the status and new orders of our customersPrepare collection arrangementResponsible for adjustments, handle queries and resolve problems within company guidelines and policyOn an ad- hoc basis the employee may be asked to perform tasks not listed here

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
College level (MBO) education in Finance, Accounting or Business or bachelor equivalent educationCredit collection qualification desirableComputer Skills (Office, Oracle/SAP, Outlook)Critical Skills/technical know-how:
Fluent in English plus native speaker in European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian), Swedish or Portuguese)Other non-native language skills at intermediate level are preferredSkilled in using excelKnowledge of SAP or Oracle desirableKnowledge of credit collections process and use of collection automation tools desirableAptitude for customer orientated and service minded approachCollaborative and team orientated approachCritical Experience:
Recent graduate or intern experience1-3 years’ experience in similar customer focused rolesShared service center experience preferably in a multinational corporate environmentOperating Company:
