GENERAL FUNCTION

The Zone Vice President (ZVP) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the overall strategy for our retail locations. This role leads a team of Regional Managers, ensuring operational excellence, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving the success of our stores. This role is vital, as the reporting org includes Store Managers and Associates who are critical to the brand’s success in North America as they represent the face of the Brand to consumers. The ZVP sets the tone and energy for these teams, ensuring an exceptional consumer experience every time. This role supports team success across all key measures, including business performance, customer satisfaction, leadership development, and flawless execution of operations and brand standards.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute strategic plans for retail field & store teams to align with overall business objectives, meet sales goals, and manage controllable expenses. Serves as a critical link between corporate and field teams, a member & active participant of the Leadership Team; develops productive relationships with key internal stakeholders (HR, Ops, Marketing, Finance) to ensure seamless execution of retail initiatives. Build and lead a high-performing Field Leadership team by recruiting top talent, driving brand experience, achieving business goals, and champion succession planning and cross-brand career paths. Participate in the recruitment & hiring process of Regional Managers, Market Managers, and high-volume store locations. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of individual stores, markets, regions, and the total business. Effectively and fosters a culture of high-sales performance and drives initiatives to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Develop & maintain a strong relationship with Product/ Assortment Execution to ensure Eyewear and AFA in Stores meet Regional demands; provide constructive and timely feedback, including seasonality implications, to influence product assortment. Facilitates the expansion of Rx in partnership with Operations and Talent Acquistion to recruit and retain Opticians, ensure successful execution of Rx training aligned with state licensing requirements, and identify opportunities to evolve the patient journey. Inspires leadership growth through formal and informal performance evaluations which assess professional development needs, accomplishments, and achievements of management objectives. Ensure properly allocated labor and resources to achieve the expectations of customers and maintain revenue and operating income goals. Proactively communicates insights and opportunities regarding Real Estate with Retail GM & Finance lead.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Senior retail management experience, preferably as Head of Stores or equivalent Results oriented. Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, processes, sales strategies, and customer service. Excellent Training and Development skills Strong oral and written Communication Strong leadership and team management skills Interpersonal skills Ability to think critically and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong motivation, negotiating and influencing skills. Highly adaptable. Ability to travel up to 60%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in an Optical Retail environment Experience in Apparel sales 8+ years of retail multi-store management and operations

​Pay Range: 186,807.04  - 293,067.22 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
