The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse will serve as a key point of contact for patients, providing expert nursing care over the phone. This role is responsible for assessing patient symptoms, determining the urgency of care needed, and guiding patients through next steps, whether that involves scheduling appointments, providing home care advice, or recommending emergency care. The nurse will work closely with the care team, ensuring seamless coordination and communication, all while delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. He/She will work in compliance with AdventHealth' s policies and those of all local, state, federal agencies, and applicable accrediting bodies.

· Assess patient symptoms via phone, utilizing clinical protocols to determine the appropriate course of action.
· Facilitate referrals and appointment scheduling, and provide clear, accurate information to ensure continuity of care.
· Offer guidance and education on common health concerns.
· Accurately document patient interactions, including symptoms, advice provided, and follow-up plans, in the electronic medical record (EMR).
· Work closely with appropriate healthcare team members to ensure cohesive care management.
· Follow established nursing protocols and guidelines for triage to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
· Associate
· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
· Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.
Must have OB nursing experiencePreferred qualifications:
· Bachelor's
· 1 years of experience in outpatient practices
· 1 years of experience in clinical nurse telephone
