The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a OB/GYN Physician for a faculty appointment (Assistant/Associate/Professor).
The incumbent in this position will engage in teaching, research, and clinical service in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). Participate in the teaching program of the Department. Engage in patient care activities consistent with the department’s needs and the faculty member’s interests. Assume administrative duties such as serving on institutional committees and assisting with the OB/GYN Residency Program and/or Clerkship Program.

OB/GYN Specialty Areas:
Boarded Subspecialties
Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
Maternal-Fetal Medicine
General Obstetrics and Gynecology (Including but not limited to: Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology; Minimally Invasive Gynecology) Minimum Qualifications • MD degree
• Georgia Medical License
• Board Eligible for Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Preferred experience in medical student and/or resident teaching
• Good interpersonal skills

Description of Job Duty • Serve on department, institutional and community-based committees
• May serve as Course Director for undergraduate medical education courses
• May provide resident and medical student supervision
• May undertake clinical responsibilities at Morehouse Healthcare, Grady Health Systems, or other affiliated sites as assigned

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
