**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **Description:** The Obstetrician and Gynecologist Hospitalist is responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient clinical services to obstetrics and gynecology patients at Holy Cross Hospital. The role requires expertise and experience in the care of obstetrics and gynecology patients, adherence to all Trinity Health perinatal guidelines, and support of Holy Cross Hospital's perinatal safety initiatives. Physicians applying for this role are expected to be board-certified or attain Board Certification within 5 years of eligibility and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality care, effective resource utilization, and a high level of patient satisfaction. The physician must hold licensure in the State of Maryland and be a member of the Medical Staff of Holy Cross Hospital. **Responsibilities:** + Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient clinical services to obstetrics and gynecology patients. + Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local health care regulations, as well as the Joint Commission standards. + Practice evidence-based medicine and adhere to Trinity Health perinatal guidelines, policies, and protocols. + Demonstrate a high level of patient satisfaction and effective resource utilization. + Collaborate with certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care. + Participate in quality, risk, and utilization review processes. + Supervise and teach residents and other learners within the hospital. + Support and promote Holy Cross Hospital’s perinatal safety initiatives. + Uphold and support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. **What you will need:** **Required:** + Medical Doctor (MD) with current Maryland licensure, free from restrictions or limitations. + Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. + Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting. + At least 2 years of supervisory experience. + Demonstrated experience in the development and management of quality, risk, and utilization review processes. + Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. + Experience and comfort with supervising and teaching residents and other learners. + Experience working collaboratively with certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. + ACLS and EFM certification required. + Bilingual abilities are preferred. + Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, EPIC preferred. + Strong computer skills and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension). + Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, stooping, kneeling, motor coordination, and effective communication skills. **Pay range:** $61.25 - $200.00 (per hour) Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
