OBD Calibration Engineer

Summary: Seeking an OBD Calibration Engineer with expertise in On-Board Diagnostic calibration processes, internal combustion engines, and legislative requirements for emissions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field Minimum 3+ years' experience with OBD diagnostic calibration Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and testing techniques Experience with OBD engine calibration and calibration tools Knowledge of legislative requirements for OBD, exhaust, and evaporative emissions

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multiple monitors for testing

Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and deliver OBD Engine Calibration Development and Testing Conduct chassis/engine emission testing activities and analyze test results Optimize calibrations to achieve tailpipe emissions, FE, and drivability targets Prepare technical reports, papers, and presentations Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams Maintain specialist knowledge of new technologies relevant to the role Mentor junior engineers in their technical career development Observe safety rules and maintain awareness of Company Quality System requirements

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
