Exceptional patient care, academic excellence and leading-edge research make UMass Memorial the premier health system of Central Massachusetts, and a place where we can help you build the career you deserve. We are more than 16,000 employees, working together as one health system in a relentless pursuit of healing for our patients, community and each other. And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day.
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a OBGYN Generalist to join our dynamic team. We welcome and support physician caregivers from all Academic Ranks to apply and join us in our relentless pursuit of healing.
UMass Memorial Health and the state of Massachusetts welcome OB/GYN providers to autonomously practice within the full scope of their specialty/subspecialty and licenses, and to vigilantly and continuously promote the opportunity to support healthy lives for all individuals seeking obstetric, gynecologic, and reproductive health care from prevention to treatment, and their families.
The Division of General Obstetrics & Gynecology is the largest division of the UMass OB/GYN department. It currently includes 15 providers, including 11 MDs and 5 nurse practitioners. The Generalist division’s missions include providing comprehensive care to women across the reproductive age span, within the discipline of obstetrics and gynecology, a commitment to the educational mission of the University of Massachusetts Medical School with involvement in the medical student and resident curriculums of the institution and participation in ongoing clinical research of women’s health care. Providers have extensive experience with a full range of surgical care and continue to expand their skills to continue to provide evolving care options.
The division’s faculty see patients in two ambulatory settings. One is located on the Memorial campus of UMass Memorial Medical Center, providing a convenient link to the services or the Maternity Unit and the larger institution. The other is located at Northborough Crossing in Northborough, Massachusetts. On-site obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound is available to patients. Complementing our clinical practices, the division provides consultative services to Family Medicine practices in the region, and family planning services at Planned Parenthood in Worcester.
