Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking an Observability/Application Monitoring Engineer. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and implement monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk, AppDynamics, and other relevant tools * Configure and maintain Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time insights into application performance, infrastructure health, and business metrics * Implement and configure AppDynamics agents and dashboards for deep application performance monitoring (APM), including transaction tracing, code-level diagnostics, and database performance analysis * Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow for incident management, change management, and problem management workflows * Proactively identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, application errors, and infrastructure issues * Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to understand their monitoring needs and provide tailored solutions * Develop and maintain documentation for monitoring systems, processes, and best practices * Automate monitoring tasks and reporting using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and other automation tools * Participate in support for critical systems * Contribute to the continuous improvement of our monitoring and observability practices
