Providence Kodiak Island is seeking an OB/GYN to join its community of care givers in Kodiak Island, Alaska. This is an extremely collegial and tight-knit group providing much-needed services to patients all across the area. As such, your work here will have a huge impact on the health and wellbeing of many local (and often quite rural) communities. The work itself involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient care (including maternity care and deliveries) at a facility that houses four birthing suites. Accredited by The Joint Commission and designated as a Level IV trauma center by the State of Alaska, this 25-bed critical-access hospital plays an indispensable role in the lives of 14,000 Kodiak residents, the Coast Guard base and neighboring villages.
