Occupancy Planner (Remote in Eastern Time Zone) Job ID 203462 Posted 28-Jan-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Workplace Strategy Location(s) Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of America **About the role:** CBRE is looking for an Occupancy Planner to assist with projects managed for a large Life Sciences client. This role can be performed remotely from the Eastern Time Zone. The purpose of this position is to maintain facilities CAD and CAFM documentation and associated data to support space & occupancy planning efforts of the client while working under senior personnel supervision. **What you'll do:** + Interacts with client throughout the day, must have excellent communication skills. + Creation, maintenance and retrieval of architectural floor plans and furniture plans including blocks, tags & polylines. + Maintain up-to-date and historical indexes of CAD files, specifications, and other related documents in the client document management system. + Ensure all submitted and edited CAD drawings adhere to client CAD drawing standards. + Create dated record CAD files for use by multiple tools (CAFM, booking, wayfinding, and sharing with 3 rd party vendors when approved). + Generate tool specific CAD files, following client standards as required. + Utilizes client CAFM system for the purpose of error-checking and maintenance of floor plans, polylines and space data updates to support move operations and space reporting in an acceptance environment for review. + Manages all tool specific CAD drawings within the client document management system. + Follow, maintain, and improve upon the document control and CAD standards process and policies. + Identifies, analyzes and applies related data regarding the creation and execution of physical or virtual space solutions. Produces visual display of quantitative and qualitative information. Illustrates organizational, operational and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts. + Executes change management process for unplanned and special project requests. Provides business case analysis and documentation that meet the client’s requirements and are consistently in alignment with client’s goals and objectives. + Establishes project goals and objectives, including, but not limited to, schedule parameters. Develops project-level and portfolio-level solutions based on interpretation of the program data and preparation of recommendations. + Partners with client leadership in researching, evaluating, and improving client and service delivery processes. + Able to resolve routine problems as they relate to manipulation of CAD software for drawing management. + Other duties as assigned. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience directly related to the delivery of strategic planning services. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Master's degree preferred. + AutoCAD drawing experience is required. + Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems. + Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Outlook, Excel (including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP), etc. + Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. + Intermediate math skills. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Occupancy Planner position is $86,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Occupancy Planner position is $95,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
